The circle scarf is warm, cosy, luxurious and elegant in painted silk velvet and sits like a necklace over a plain dress or sweater – and up close around the neck under a coat. This one is blues, turquoise through to greens, greys, moss and gold and a slash of black.
The design is from a Vogue paper pattern from the 1950’s given to me by a friend – it is cut on the cross with a twist in the circle.
Handwash, spin and then tumble dry – or dry clean. Bring up the pile when necessary with steam from a kettle or a steamer.
